Development of library site adjacent to woodland. Ecological survey of woodland area and production of woodland management plan. The management plan provided management prescriptions of new and existing semi-natural habitats including enhancement proposals for biodiversity enhancement. Where available, published sources of information were analysed and the data verified. The plan followed best practice for the works to proceed without detriment to protected species as regulated by the Wildlife and Countryside Act, 1981 and the Habitat Regulations, 2010 and the long-term conservation of trees.
